Remember that vintage instruction sheet for new moms that went viral? Well, another one has hit the internet, thanks to a Facebook group called Mum’s Grapevine.

The exact origins of this schedule for “Baby’s Day” are unknown, but many internet commenters believe it was probably written in the 1950s.

It prescribes a four-hour feeding schedule and suggests that baby will sleep from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m, so we’re not sure the writer has actually ever met a baby. These days it is not recommended to give babies anything but breastmilk or formula, but back then babies were apparently drinking orange juice every day at four o’clock.

Times have changed!
